Welcome to Sheridan Japanese School!

February is another busy month for Sheridan Japanese School.  The staff continues to make changes to improve the learning environment for our students.

For instance, one change is the staff will have two days of conferences instead of one.  A survey was completed by parents and students at the November conferences.  In order to accomodate the needs and requests made by the parents and students, the staff decided to create a day of conferences for high school students and a day of conferences for 4th-8th grade students.

February 25th from 12:30-8:30 PM the HS students will hold conferences.  Each HS conference takes twenty minutes and involves three senseis: Delacy sensei, Leighty sensei, and Scott sensei.  ALL HS STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO PARTICIPATE.  Students will only come to school for the conference time.

February 25th the 4th-8th grade students will participate in a field trip to OMSI.  Permission slips were sent home with a $5 request.

February 26th the 4th-8th grade students will hold conferences.  Each conference takes twenty minutes and involves two senseis:  The 4/5th class will hold conrences wtih Ross sensei, the 6/7 class will hold conferences with Piontek and Scott sensei, and the 7th/8th class will hold conferences with Delacy sensei and Leighty sensei.ALL STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO PARTICIPATE

February 26th-NO SCHOOL FOR HS STUDENTS
